Northumberland

restaurant reviews

For being such a large area of England, Northumberland has a disappointing quantity of top, top places to eat.

The ones which dominate are worth the long drives though – The Feathers Inn springs immediately to mind, and up the Northumberland coast there’s plenty of pubs, fish and chips stops, and little restaurants worth a look, they just never really make it big time. So whether you’re headed West along Hexham way, or North up to Berwick, here’s where we’ve been to eat that was worth a look.
