Sunderland… yes this is still a Newcastle blog. But honestly. Sunderland has gotten way, way better over the last decade. The best places are mostly all run by the same team — you’ll find them below. But it’s great to see some reasons to visit Sunderland, even if it’s just somewhere decent to go before the theatre.
