But more importantly with news of the likes of Barrio, Ophelia, Bawn, Papa Ganoush, Thali Tray all shutting up some shop this month the wider message is really to stop going to the chains even just a couple of times, be mindful of all those sponsored posts you see from restaurants that can afford the luxury of a marketing budget, and support your local indies. It’s always been that way here, but feels more important than ever given we just lost a swathe of the very best that we had. #newcastleeats #foodblog #supportlocal
